Over the past few months, a growing awareness has emerged within the care sector: the software designed to support care providers is simply not fit for purpose. This issue has been repeatedly highlighted at industry events, where we’ve met an increasing number of professionals who share our frustration. The recent Care Tech Avengers event was a particular turning point, bringing together innovators, providers, and thought leaders who all recognise the same fundamental problem—most care software isn’t designed with the end user in mind.

The Cracks in the System

The care industry has long faced systemic challenges, from workforce shortages to financial constraints. While digital transformation is often touted as the solution, the reality is that much of the technology currently in place is adding to the burden rather than alleviating it. Many providers are stuck with rigid, outdated systems that don’t meet their specific needs, forcing them to work around software rather than with it. Worse still, some widely adopted systems have caused operational disruptions, proving that a poorly designed solution can be worse than no solution at all.

A Growing Movement for Change

At the Care Tech Avengers event, we spoke with countless care professionals who feel let down by the technology that’s supposed to support them. A key takeaway from the event—and something we’ve been hearing time and time again—is that software providers are often too removed from the realities of care delivery. Instead of listening to the people on the ground, they dictate what the sector needs. This top-down approach has led to a disconnect, leaving care providers struggling with tools that are not built for their workflows, regulations, or day-to-day challenges.

Our latest blog post on the Care Tech Avengers event captures these frustrations, but also the hope that is emerging. The industry is waking up to the need for change, and there is now real momentum behind the push for better, more tailored technology solutions.

CarePoint 365: Built for You, Not for Us

At CarePoint 365, we’ve always believed that software should serve the needs of its users, not the other way around. That’s why we take a fundamentally different approach to building care software. Rather than offering a one-size-fits-all system, we take inspiration from Burger King’s famous slogan: “Have it your way.”

Our software is tailored to your requirements, customised to meet the specific needs of each care provider. Whether it’s adapting to unique workflows, integrating with existing systems, or ensuring compliance with ever-changing regulations, our focus is on creating software that works for you. We understand that no two care providers are the same, and their technology shouldn’t be either.

This ethos is at the heart of everything we do. We work with care providers, not just for them. We listen, collaborate, and deliver solutions that genuinely support better care delivery.

A Future Designed Around Care Providers

The recognition that the care sector’s software is broken is the first step towards meaningful change. More and more people are realising that we need solutions designed with care providers, rather than imposed upon them. At CarePoint 365, we’re proud to be part of this movement, working to ensure that technology empowers rather than hinders those providing care.

As this momentum builds, we remain committed to delivering truly bespoke care software—because the people dedicating their lives to care deserve systems that make their jobs easier, not harder.

Join the conversation and help shape the future of care technology. Together, we can build something better.
